Mona Chavarria is like an Olympic athlete – a record breaker with a focused vision for her business and community.
Vice Chair of the Pearland Economic Development Corporation and former Chair of the Board of Directors for the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, this mother of two, started A & A Cleaning Services in 2000. By the way, A & A stands for Andrew and Alex - her two soon to be college - bound sons. Her company provides residential and commercial janitorial services plus janitorial supplies in addition to professional lawn care. Similar to a disciplined Olympian, Chavarria’s formula for success is simple: “Work hard and never take NO for an answer,” said Chavarria. Her community involvement is also part of her championship training. “I live and work in Pearland and I believe that it is important, as a local business owner, to have an active presence in the area. That’s why I volunteer my time to various local organizations,” said Chavarria who continues to show the heart of a champion.
